I'm quite fond of Strider (double helix/capcom). Some might dismiss its more simplistic look but I find it effective, it's very cohesive and captures the kinetic energy of the game.
I decided to create his classic skin because Muay Thai will look too similar to a certain Capcom character. This is a very early blocking stage. Still playing with anatomic proportions.
yeah man, and there were several parts of the fight when all i could think about was marvel vs capcom combo moves lol. Ironman's beam + Cap's shield = fucking WIN.
I'm gonna put this guy down for a while as I'm not happy with where he's going. Maybe later. Just fan art, so copyright Capcom and all that. I own nothing of the design.
Before it got cancelled, Capcom had a development blog where they mentioned reusing the same mesh for different characters. http://www.capcom-unity.com/devroom/blog/2010/12/20/heroine_progress_report_-_3d_modeling
Great stuff, Arsh! I didn't play any of the old Strider games, but he's always one of my first choices in Marvel vs Capcom . The asymmetrical features are a nice touch too.
I think her eyes are far too out and up apart like a fish, could be narrowed. Also the jawline is too hard this might come in handy maybe. Discusses capcom's freaky proportions
he seems like a bit of a bad ass in MvC 3 [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hDjttNGgYA"]Rocket Raccoon Character Vignette - Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 - YouTube[/ame]
[ QUOTE ] Goddam arms. [/ QUOTE ] Looks really nice cheapy, but you do realize that you can not place a derivative work like that (as it is based on a capcom design) under the GPL and is thus incompatible with OpenArena?
I have never felt so pumped for something and then so let down. It was as big of a let down i fell as the movies. at least we still have avp gold and the old capcom arcade games.
