That's correct Axl5 Problem is for example, my city scene is set to Unit scale of 1 and set to metres which is perfectly fine in terms of convenience ie a building will have maybe a 2m doorway etc Characters are generally set at unit scale of 0.01 or 0.1 and set to centimetres, so when i append my character to the scene… -

I use D'Addario but haven't tried the chromes. Any good? I use the .009 super light gauge on my Ibanez. My friend with the PRS uses .008 gauge on his, I thought he was crazy but it actually works really well. -

Every 3d package texture baker could bake from one UV to another or from one mesh to another. Could be done both ways actually. I don't use 3d max for a decade already but as far as I remember it could be perfectly done in render-to-texture dialog. Or any texture baker that support a texture on "hires" mesh. Substance… -

If you want even more sharpen then that, get into the "effects" tab of the texture node and put the filter into 0.1 or 0.01 instead of 1.0, that might help, it does for me anyway. -

Re: Problem with UVs
Thanks a lot, Jerc! I increased the Max Frontal and Rear Distance to 0.1, and that fixed the problem. In the series of tutorials I was following such a high number was never used, they usally used something like 0.01. That may have something to do with my scale, perhaps? Thank you again!
