Hello Polycount!! I am slowly learning new things with 3dsmax :) and i am loving it! I am here today with a small Favor to ask, This is the first image of the model, It is a front view This is a back view of the Model This is a Top view of the model This is a Bottom view of the model The next 2 images are Random angled…
I was wondering if there is a good way to bake in the detail from a high res model to low poly one. I'm not refering to normal mapping. Let say you model a hi poly tank, with the intention of using it to generate the texture of a low poly model. You take the time to model the bevels so it catches the highlights and all…
model I've recently read and reread the book Ready Player One and decided that I would make a series of models based on the scenes that are in the book and or just models. This is the first of several models. I am also planning to maybe make a short game around all the models that I will produce. Hope you guys like it.…
Hello! Thank you for the reply, I have tried this unfortunately it still does not do it for me, however I made a workaround, by importing marvelous designer model onto my Zbrush and then scaling my model in zbrush. This work around worked for me but in the future I hope to find out what causes this. Thank y ou for the…

Not sure if using normal maps is going to make a big visual difference for a lot of those things. If you are able to…
So I'm fairly new to 3D modeling and as I want to learn to model buildings in general I was wondering if I should be using the "Smooth Mesh Preview" in Maya at all or not? When it comes to modeling houses, bridges etc. is it ok to not bother about smooth mesh and model things "as they are"?
Am working on a customized HK-416 rifle. I have just finished the highpoly model of it and still working on its lowpoly. Most of the model is modeled traditionally with sub-d modeling inside 3ds max and then got everything polished in Zbrush. Your feedback regarding anything is always appreciated!.
I started an animation a few years ago and, now that we're all self-isolating, would like to use the time to finish it off. It's currently about 70% complete. I'm looking for a strong character modeller to build a single model for the film. The model needs to be a caricature rather than a photorealistic person.
