I started learning Unity. I am following 3dmotive's intro to unity lessons. In this lessons, instructor uses .ma maya ascii files to import to unity so my question is; it is not important to use FBX when importing from Maya to Unity? or is there a difference between them? Thank you.
Is there an example of a good looking (modern) unity game. It just seems like everyone in 3D Art Showcase & Critique uses UE4. You would think it would be 50/50 in this forum since unity is really popular in general. In most gamejams there is a huge bias towards unity.

I'm getting a strange artifact on the normal maps of a substance imported into Unity. If I publish the normal map from SD and import it into Unity manually it doesn't have this issue.
