Congratulations on the engine choice Looks nice. Thief2 WAS that dark. And it was awesome. There is a Doom3 mod that recreates the Thief series. Have no idea if they are still alive though. "THE DARK MOD" I think it is called. If you want a graphical update of Thief, check it out. Doom3 is old, but still looks nice. -

There were hints of Thief 4 being in development well before that though. Regardless, it's been 3 years and the only thing that's been officially released is a that ridiculous Thi4f logo. Hi, it definitely looks Victorian but there isn't much that stands out as thief to me (apart from maybe the hat). It looks very pristine and I would image a thieves desk would be messy and dirty with strange stolen artifacts. Maybe when you texture it it'll be able to tell that story in more detail. Good start though. -
