Hello, I'm new to Polycount so I hope I'm doing this feedback thing right :) Recently I applied for a 3D Artist job and I had to do this assigment: creating a mid poly ( under 20k tris) 3D model of Peterbilt Cabover truck with Diffuse, Roughness and Metallic maps for a mobile game. I ultimately didn't get the offer, so I'd…
Try using a layer effect. Paint a mid brown squiggle. Double click on the layer and use layer effects bevel and emboss.. set this to make the mud 3d looking. Be subtle and use lots of layers to get depth. You can then turn on outer glow, and set this to multiply for wet mud or screen for lighter dried mud. I usually have…

One thing that would be great with the emissive eyes, is if they actually lit up some of the eye socket around each eye, so it wasn't just the eyes in isolation. For example here's a mod using the effect and (mostly) it looks pretty neat https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/110023?tab=posts
Hi guys! My name is Nikita, I'm making a Dbal a3 laser model. With working mechanics. It will be animated and show how its mechanical base works, etc. I originally went with the CAD (Plasticity-fusion 360) pipeline - export via Plasticity - to Zbrush (finishing High poly) - blender (creating low poly) - marmoset baking -…
Well from what I have seen on Fallout modding scene, almost all car mods are either edited vanilla cars OR bought/DLed models from the internet. If you know about someone who DID make a custom car for FO I would really appreciate you telling me.
