UE 5.3 low FPS in editor viewport with a 5950X and RTX 3090 (different sample scenes)
Every example scene I open in the editor seems to be slow. FPS 20-30 and in cinematic mode 10-20 FPS. I have a 16-core 4.3 GHZ CPU and an RTX 3090. I know I can lower the resolution, but even then performance is still not good. Does anyone know what could be the problem? I am using this free… -

So AMD just showed their new GPUs, and the 6900XT is apparently just as fast as a 3090, smaller, uses less energy, and costs $1000 (so $500 less then a 3090). Looking good for team red. -

You would be better off spending €1300 every 2 years for 6 years than spending 4000 at once. It's over kill, and a 1300 computer built a year from now will be better than a 4000 built today. -

If it's anything like the Tegra X1, it's the full Nvidia desktop grade architecture. The K1 came out in 2014 and had the GFLOP (~350) performance of the PS3/360. how do i fix it if it is? It wasnt doing that before, it was only when i started adding lighting then i noticed or could it be upgrading the gfx card? I have a nvidia 3090 gfx card and upgraded the driver to 572.60 Someone also suggested it could be mobile mutil view checked in project settings but it is already unchecked.
