So, a couple weeks later and here I am :) I've got gifted the Allegorithmics Suite and been trying to replicate a table I've seen in a pizzeria in Substance Designer. Here is where I'm at (central woodpiece missing) substance reference
honestly, i have no idea what happened there i tried to replicate it by using different methods to copy geometry that has UVs, but every method i used worked out fine can you upload your blend file ?
Any examples of this working well? it seems totally bogus, for spec to replicate ambient you'd need to make it increadably blurry. Blurry spec = diffuse shading. So why not just bake it into the Diffuse and use the spec for what its intended for.
Look at pictures... Figure out how stuff works, and then try to replicate an image without using the eyedropper. Try to think of how and why a certain shape get a certain color etc. I'm no expert, but that approach seems to work for me :)
Hi guys ! i'm trying to replicate the trace that a windhsiled wiper would create when passing over a dusty windshield, like you see in the photo below : Does anybody have any tips on how to achieve this ? ( i'm using photoshop to create the texture )
Thanks man for the kind words! I tried to replicate 3 different golden materials, that should be more akin to brass, meanwhile on the armor is "fire gilding" most of the time. But thanks for the heads up, I'll do my best to improve!
I don't recall ever seeing that mask you're referring to - I've been using SUITE since 1.X and never encountered it to the best of my knowledge. You should easily be able to replicate it using the DynaMask editor though!
Thought the title said Sith Infiltrator and I got excited. :D Even just learning the tools can benefit from having reference. Gives you something to figure out how you could replicate using the tools
Those metal shelving that can be seen at either end of the basement side with the stairs... they look like they are the same shelving unit, and so in theory could be replicated meshes, but they also look a lot different in sizes. Is this just a perspective issue on the concept?
