Your picture is just black, so it's hard to make a diagnosis from it. i think what they mean by rotation is that zbrush outputs the maps upside down. I wouldn't suggest trying to rotate the uvs to match though, just hit the flip vertical button in zbrush to flip the map vertically before you export it. I will also add that… -

I've got one 24" 16:9 monitor and one 20" 16:10 monitor. The vertical difference in size isn't huge so they go really well together. It really depends on context. If the character is 10000 vertices, and it's holding 5 coins, then #3 is fine. If the character is 1000 vertices, and holding 5 coins, then #2 is better. hmm, i've had this happen before. what I do which seems to work, is right before saving the .max file, select all vertices and hit the "Lock vertices" button in Physique... or failing that you could export the .PHY file just before saving and closing Max, that way if it breaks on reload, you can simply re-import the .PHY… -

I was actually thinking about this before. If you chamfer an edge, you can easily make it go back to normal by welding the vertices at each corner. You seems to have extruded parts of this "rips", constructed the circular part connect it; selected the inner part, extruded it and scaled them in your X axis like so..?
