     IN regards to the sword detail, just imagine where the sword actually makes contact with other objects. That should localize the damage areas you're looking to paint in.

     Zonder: the first thing that jumps out at me is the fact that the sword is upside down. You would never rest a Japanese sword on its sharpened edge.

     I started creating this sword yesterday and unwrapped it and textured it all today. Today I also modelled, sculpted and textured this hand to go along with the sword.

     Shields, bah. Shields are only for parrying. need cooler (curved) swords! Hopefully there will be another sweet one like the Luck sword in Demon's Souls, but not holding my breath.

     hey, I love the shape of the sword! I'm not so sure about the slashes/scratches on the sword though, they feel abit "soft" to me. Just my humble opinion :)
