Hi! I'm looking for a feedback for this model's textures before I move to rendering. Is there anything wrong I missed? Can I improve it somehow and make it more interesting? A few screenshots are from SP viewport
Very nice. Definitely better than any student work I ever produced :+1: Agreed with illumisanic. Something I notice in grad work is that its common to spend a lot of triangles in small fine detail areas while neglecting the larger silhouette. If you take some of the triangles out of the high density areas and spend them in…
Yea... just finished the SP... it was really entertaining. I had a lot of fun. I am curious to see the co op tho. Really nice looking game tho! loved the style and the story was pretty amusing.
I'd only be willing to try this out for personal stuff if SP/SD/xN/TB3 could bake all UDIM tiles in one go and then specific ones as I see the need of fixing errors for certain areas.
No, First person... Mercs was just a huge, bland open third person game, not the same at all and quite dull this gen tbh... Back to FFXIII how epic was that bit in Palpulom (Sp?) where Totally rocked :D
Hey everyone! so I planned on finishing up this material today but I ran into an issue with my normal map. For some reason SP is exporting it out bright purple. Has anyone ran into this issue before?
I'm running Windows 10 with 2016 without issue. Try uninstalling Max 2016 SP1. I know that SP has caused a lot of problems for people. Also try doing a repair install, maybe that will help.
actually i tried with a triangulated mesh via "maya triangulate" and export it. the mesh looks same like in SP. but the result is the same as the "quad one" I actually was pursuing this kind of disortion of texture as shown in the 4th image :/
I think a contextual "dude" works. The turtles were charactures (sp?) of surfers.....so it was contextual and didn't pull me out of that world. The "dude" aside.....when the girl is waking up and says that line....i cringed.
