I suppose that depends on the method you are using. For sculpting on a plane for example, there is a wrap around mode: http://docs.pixologic.com/reference-guide/brush/curve/ Other 3d apps with sculpting built in (like modo) can probably make smart use of the instance layers for tiled sculpting. Z in modo, X is extrude as well(for use on faces instead of edges) I've never had to do anything like this, possibly look at grid snapping for uvs, dunno. [Maya 2009] X-Ray mode with vertex color?
Already some years I work with vertex color under Maya and it will create shit render with the x-ray mode in the viewport. I would like to know if there is a solution about it or I have to create a patch detecting if there is vertex color and I switch on the vertex color transparency. Let me know.... Thanks! :) -
