I've watched two tutorials that don't mention anything about trimming/cutting fibermesh hair. I've tried creating a mask then hitting delete and it does not work. I watched this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEXJMSPikko - Which clearly did not cover the basics, since I can't even trim and cut the hair. I've…
What shotgun are you modeling? It appears to be a Remington 870. If so, you really need to work on the receiver and pump. The receiver looks way too block like, the ejection port looks severely off, and the pump also looks odd. Before you look to add more to the model nail the gun. Look at references, look at YouTube…
Thanks! Super excited to continue sharing updates. You're spot on regarding the camera hero; my original research for this project led me to the Graflex Speed Camera (with many of my references below being from 1960s models/videos of fixing up ones from that time period.) Your note on long exposure, angle, and it being…
k, i love FF7 i used to hate it, till i watched it xD and i was so inspired by the degree of perfection in that movie, that i just Had to make something..right? so i decided to make clouds sword.....as some of you may know its probably one of the most advanced sword known to the human race...... heres a few pics for those…
Nice video find @PolyHertz ! Yes, ive completely disabled lighting. I noticed in the video she places a light? I guess its some kind of vector that is used to assign vertex colors with falloff? Im coding something like in blender now. I was looking at some of the textures from vagrant story and noticed there are several…
Going to be honest and say that I don't get it. Like at all. Seems like an incredible amount of faffing about when really its 3D sculpting. I don't really see how a lattice modifier is like drawing, if anything drawing with "clay" in 3D is much more like drawing. While this program seems novel and cool that it happened it…
I guess for me and the stuff I am doing it's a compromise. not going for photoreaistic, but not totally stylised either, so some kind of simulation as a base is a must ( not really using scans) I am looking forward to the blender cloth brush being included in the main build, looks awesome for local detail Jose , that…
That's craaaazy, I wonder how they actually pull it off, does anybody have any idea? Some of these scenes look incredibly high poly if they really keep all that geometry hidden in there. The stuff some of the people in early access have made is incredible, some are actually trying to remake popular games: FF7…
Well, it sounds harsh, if you take it for that ;) Dont mix up the last stuff i wrote tho. its not towards you. As for the rag, i´d replace it with something more suitable. Eg a tourniquet, quick-clot package or FFD taped to the stock. A mate of mine saw your M16 and immediatly said: "Whats that on the stock??" "No idea"…
@adrxzero <3 Thank you! @melli06 Do you have a thread? I would love to see what you come up with! @artofmars Thanks! Will keep on going with this! @9thKnight Thanks! So splines would actually take too much time for some of the things plus I wouldn't be able to as easily reuse and manipulate them, there are a loooot of…
