hey, i joined during the time that we were still waiting for the new site to be completed. So, i just wanted to know, what was the rest of the polycount site outside of forums? What was there? i just don't know what to expect wth the new one. -

Just saying .avi or .mov doesn't tell us what codec you're using. Quicktime/Animation is a lot bigger that Quicktime/Soreson. Hack method would be to have a non uniform scaling on the mesh then add the chamfer modifier. That will add a bias to the chamfers on the long side of your rectangle so the edge distances aren't equal on either side of the chamfer. If you want to be a concept artist, leave 3D at the side, its way too complex to just do on the side and that is a workflow very experienced people can use.
