i think i replicated your problem with the scanline renderer... in the diffuse bitmap turn the image alpha sorce to NONE opaque.. then keep in on the opacity.. like so
Wow that looks amazing! Shame it isn't original design the levels is really quite stunning. Still good job on replicating, looks top quality! Materials are awesome too!
Can anyone reccomend me a cool character lighting tutorial? Doesn't matter what app it's for, as I'm guessing I can replicate it in Maya (just as long as it doesn't involve using Vray or any of it's lights).
Anyone willing to share tips and tricks for when you're working to replicate a likeness, be it from a concept or real-life example? Wouldn't mind some tips towards this sort of stuff.
I might get stoned to death for this, but Guns, as in real world guns. Sure it shows you can replicate a real world object but IMO there is no originality in doing such an asset.
apply an edit mesh modifier and then export as an obj, should fix the issue. i've had it a few times, i can never replicate it but i know that fixes it for me.
Great stuff. How have you gone about re-creating this though. I mean from a technical side of things with scale of the original level and replicating the textures?
Here's were I'm at. Did not like the look of what I got. The textures are from Zbrush but I'm gonna replicate that grainy feel and color scheme. [IMG][/img]
This is going to be my last piece ! It looks so complicated to replicate. Looks like they've used 3D scan or something, because the texture is too perfect and organic IMO.
