Superman needs a better pose, maybe have a below perspective shot with his fists on his hips looking all heroic. Spiderman's leg looks a bit too long to me. try reducing the amount of spirals in the tattoo, I'll try to do a quick paint over when I get home to give you an idea of what I'm talking about.
Yah sorry guys. Gauss and I, er, talked last night and to make everyones lives easier we figure that Gauss' group will be best. It's open to the public so anyone can find it & join. Here's the direct link: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/polycountpublic Striff: You'll have to kick everyone from your group, then leave it…
Thanks guys. Ok I'm gonna try SlideKnit, if that fails, I'll report back and may need some further explanation of the TexTools option. I use TexTools almost every day but have no idea about the function you're talking of Vig, I only use a few of its core features, so I may need some clarification.
When we're talking about a bridge or using custom router firmware, it's a second device. So you would connect to the bridge (or modified router) with an Ethernet cable and the bridge would wirelessly connect to your router in the basement. It's fairly simple to set up, I'm not super technical but I do have a lot of IT…
i thought that any expense related to work counted. I wrote off my gas for travel to school and work so i dont see why cab rides dont count. I have written off meals and all kinds of things and even toys for gods sake as they were used for reference / inspirtation. Guess it depends who you talk to.
So I am reading a bit more about this, and they are talking about floating the first of these off the bay in San Francisco-- it is kind of an interesting application since the cost of land is so high there, and getting around is already a pain. There is a good chance that taking a boat would not seriously increase your…
Fantastic work man. Very polished and an original idea! Make sure you show enough breakdowns of the technical stuff on your portfolio, prospective employers will like this. So when you talk about the cars, their polycount and shaders, use wireframes pics, and maybe even shots of you shader nods. Gotta make sure all the…
haha nono I've fixed it. I had to bake flat color into the model first to erase whatever material data was there before. From then I could apply matcaps on top of the model and bake them into the texture. Let me know if you ever wanna know how to do that or if you want a visual representation of just wth I'm talking about…
We all get that funk some days. Everyone knows what I'm talking about. Every polygon you're laying down looks bad, every pixel. I just take an off-day when I feel it's one of those days and catch up on some tv series watching or something. I've never been able to fight through it.
dude! Way to take a crap on the rim and put the seat back down on top of it. There ARE helpful people offering solutions that maybe you should think about. But you seem confident enough to know what your talking about so, have at it and show us your new and improoved results with mudbox, maybe you'll teach us how to…
