Don't use Worldspace, use "Local XYZ" (that's what object-space is called in the Projection Options dialog). If you use Local, you should set each model to use a single smoothing group, which will reduce baking errors along the edges of things.

Nice, an original pimp. Like Slum said, these do have the Fruit Loops sound to them since you used some a number of unedited samples. I'm no musician, but I'll give you my thoughts. blah15 - This one sounds a bit like a remix of the tetris theme song about a minute in. The piano set against the heavy guitar (or whatever…
[ QUOTE ] Take any piece of paper around you, write "my friend xyz is allowed to visit me" sign it, give it to your friend and done. I can think of harder things to regulate. " you're still resorting to insults and harsh language." I just re-read my posts and for the life of me, I cannot locate any insults OR harsh language. [edit] oh, I did say "hell" once or twice. Im a potty mouth. Saying "I was going to say" and then just saying it anyway is still....just saying it anyway. So that equals:…
What are you using this bone for? Are you using footsteps to animate your walk cycle? If that's the case, it might be a bit complicated to get the root bone to follow along with the biped. You could try linking the Bip01 to it the new root bone, and then wiring the bone's XYZ transform into the Bip01, thus making a…
mvelasquez - Thanks for the good words. Ferg - Thanks for the crits, and especially the mouth-nose distance. There was something about the mouth that bugs me, maybe that will fix it up. EricElwell - Thanks, and I hear there is snow coming this weekend (hopefully) xysdf - Good pointers. I tried to get the shape as close as…
Some engines hate this because of their shadow methods or collision-hulls or LOD. But for us it's not a problem. It actually makes things slightly easier when the model uses bones, since we're weighting two verts there instead of four. Also helps if precision is low in the 3d app, since welded verts share the same xyz…
