Thanks Klawd. The night renders are my favourite too. With the timeline we had I was hesitant to spend time on the night scene as well but my team mate Juriaan (Can find him linked on the artstation) took out half a day and whipped up 70% of it in an afternoon like magic. Am so happy we have it now.
wow this is really cool, but i agree with the previous crit that some areas could be hardened up.. also maybe get some bolts or something going on, looks a little bare atm. really great though. my initial impression when i first saw it was that it was like 60 or 70 feet tall, not like 24 or so though..
Well I think the texture work is very awesome. The design is nice and it reminds me of something that would have been used in a show from the late 70's or early 80's. I mean that as a compliment by the way. The interior doesn't look as finished as the rest and the hatch could use more texture work too. Good job.
Heheh, coworker Aubrey Ankrum acting out Taurus' line "No Groove..." something something. Ooooh lovely. Thought I had Groove peeing in an outtake, nope. I think one of the reasons I76 was so memorable was not just the 70's vibe but that the characters were so featureless, people just filled in all the blanks with their…
whisky and beers, tv shows and movies, might be some ive seen before but i know will make me smile for a while good music, might be extreemly heavy where i can scream and shout to get some out and move over to 70s and get me groove on i like to take a walk or ride my bicycle for a bit
the first graphic design teacher i ever had (Mike Trim) did the original record cover art of those tripod type machines, he was a great teacher. http://drzeus.best.vwh.net/wotw/wotw1978.6.html even if the 70s musical thing was a little strainge. Edit , yes , i didnt get to the point of my post, nice painting
Well now it's 70 bucks a pop (I have got to drop by japan one of these days, I wonder how long it takes to get there by boat?), I never install any mouse software anyway. Anyways, it'll be better and cooler than my current second mouse with its broken third button and lovely tape reinforced buttons.
References/Base images: I went onto google found some base images to reproduce in a more modern cartoon look but still with the 70s/80s sci-fi style I am also planning on using a real Mars panorama photo but maybe making it more red like it used to be depicted Sorry got bored making it an dk how to delete post
While I was working on my barbarian it crossed my mind that I should make like a diorama where he fights some demon so I ended up working on this. ~ 70 hours of work all streamed on twitch and available for my patrons on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/nimlot https://www.twitch.tv/nimlot26 More images, videos and marmoset…
A half demon, half human soulcollector. Thought this charachter could belong in a game like Oblivion. This was a school assignment and probably put down around 70 hours on it from concept to final model. There are still a few things to fix but time was up... I'm sorry that I hadn't more time to work on the sword for…
