This was based on the movie Castle in the Sky By: Ghibli Studio. I still have to add some grass blades, trees, rocks.. But so far this is what i have. I can probably push the lighting further but im still learning UDK.
After mainly working on interiors I wanted to try my hand at an outdoor environment. So I decided to try recreating a scene from Studio Ghibli in UE4. If you haven't seen the film here is the reference: And My version in UE4
Actually some of the most progressive views ive ever seen of women have been in anime. See Planetes, or Michiko to Hatchin, or any studio ghibli. And as always Blaizer, so elegantly high and mighty with your succinct style of engrish.
I was disappointed - it still had all the Studio Ghibli animated charm, but the story seemed weak on the whole. I do honestly beleive that it was puely the surce material that was to blame as Miyazaki is usually great. i haven't read th original story though. Totoro is the best love film ever
Been thinking up a story over Christmas break. A grandpa gets turned into a cat, and he and his grandson have to find a way to turn him back. Here's a fun doodle! It's sort of a cross between Ghibli style and Pokemon style. Not sure if I'll take it anywhere, but it was good fun :)

Apart from a few new-gen games utilizing the latest technology, I think most IPs utilize a graphic trend that could be done with hardare made 10 years ago. Like 'borderlands-styled' games getting replaced by 'studio ghibli' style games and now by 'comic book' style games. AI cannot predict that, but if you feed the…
Hi, I really love this community idea and would like to contribute a floor to the tower in the form of a 'Borrower's Den'. This is playing off the idea that there are miniature people in the world and what their living space would look like. I have been inspired by films such as Ghibli's 'Arrietty' and illustrators such as…
