i also have a ms laser mouse 600 its awesome since it doesnt have that annoying red light under it . gonna buy anotehr one just like it since i like it so much. -

Mop - it was very central, very nice. Still, 2 hours each way commuting to Oxford and dropping 600 a month on rent seemed insane to me. thomasp - That might be true now, but I worked at Ubisoft Oxford. -

@shrike cheers for the comment, mate. Nice to get one from you. Mipp-mapping 101. :) Yeah, that was part of the design. This is purely a portfolio piece that I'm rendering offline so I was going for more of a real-world look rather than an in-game exaggerated bevel look as there'll be no mipping or LODing involved. -

Yeah, spending $200k to work in an unstable, hard to get a job, not exactly well paying, industry is just crazy. You can spend $60k on 4 years of pharmacy school and make $100k a year starting, and the job is in demand. I just hate seeing people $200k in debt and cannot get a job. -

Good point! :) I'll make it more narrow. I like how the extrude works in the realtime so I won't get rid of that (anyway that will save me ~20 tris which is just 600 tris less a second for the engine to render). The idea to extrude it more is nice. I'll definitely try that! :) Thanks. -

Holy flippin hell. I missed out on grabbing the CE in stores (Wanted it to go with my original CE, and the art book/dvd are worth it), so I checked ebay. The goddamn things are going between 200 and 400 bucks. That's obscene. I was expecting like maybe 120, but what in the hell? Who is it that pays that much for it? Or…
