Can someone upload a fixed version of the Character Art Guide? Pages13-14 are the same. I can't edit it in my Acrobat nor i can't export it to any other file format. I know this isn't a big deal but any help would be appreciated. :)
@ slipsius always online and REQUIRED online are different. The devices (phones, gps, tablet) that are online serve a purpose but it is not required. Please tell me why my console need to be online ? If i want to play NHL 14 on xbox, why do I need to be online
Hmm, I need to make another topic about this I guess since I'm hijacking it too much. My padding is always set to 8 for 1K, 14 for 2K and 18 for 4K maps. And thanks for the pic Mark, a few of my friends will find this lovely!
Texture still in progress but i thought id do an update. added some basic eyes, still need to texture and make eye shadow meshes. add a lot more detail into the texture over all, then start the hair and fur cards. 14 days to go!
When I'm in term time (currently at Staffs Uni, about to go third year) I often do full weeks (+weekends) of 14-16 hours a day. Right now on my time off so looking at 6-8 hours of work instead. How to balance: pick something, and do it :p
I fell though the map. Obviously very shoddy work ;) I'm joking of course. That was very cool. Excellent work, sir. The planning must have taken quite a bit of time. It may have already been mentioned but I don't have the energy to get through all 14 pages right now.
I talk about this pretty extensively in my Cascade Beginner's Guide on 3dmotive. It's in volume 2, chapters 13 & 14. https://www.3dmotive.com/f104301 There are lots of different approaches, but in the video I talk about how to use After Effects to layout a flipbook from some stock fire footage. Hope this helps!
One thing I don't like is that image sets are not clumped together. On http://www.texturepilot.com/textures/63/Floor for instance, the first 14 images are nearly the same. This means that when I'm browsing, I have to click through many more pages. It's a pretty nice alternative, though, so good going for you.
A lot of music is just straight up designed to program the audience to buy shit. as luck would have it, i just wrote an article related to this subject this morning.. http://www.thought-patterns.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=55:using-insecurity-to-set-the-frame&catid=14:language&Itemid=28
