Overall great game and a solid contribution from yourself Konrad. Thanks for posting. Stylised art on consoles is slowly disappearing as console generations come and go :( I'm glad Darksiders is keeping it alive. I miss Soul Reaver.
I've bean reading this thread and it's blown me away. One think I would like to know is this talk about decals! what are they in video game terms? are decals for the use of eyes used commonly in japanese/stylised games?
[ QUOTE ] I like my tanks(and cars) american made. [/ QUOTE ]Hey, don't shun THE best tank in the world.. The M1A2 Abrams only comes in 4th. I do prefer the Abrams, though.. Stylin' piece of hardware!
Hey, your model accuracy is off, are you doing a stylised version? If not i suggest finding high res reference images and look at the weapon from all angles. Also, the eotech has some weird normals or baking issues.
Thanks =) Doing a few tests with hairs, quick 30 minute test, Trying my hardest to avoid manually placing hair cards, but it still seems like the most appropriate way =( the results from painting geometry are way to stylised.
Yea im going for more stylised but didnt have time so when i go and resculpt it ill exaggerate some features or maby tone down the kinks in the neck haha ill have to do 2 differnt versions.
i think you're following anatomical rules more than the concept itself. the eyes should be lower than they are (keep the eyebrows where they are) and slightly closer together, the lips need to be much much narrower, and the nose more slender and stylised.
Hello everyone, posting on behalf of our studio Hammerplay, a character we worked on lately part of an experimental project. The character is modeled after the Warrior called Arjuna from one of the Indian Epics. Our artist here went for a slightly stylised look. Would love your thoughts! Thanks!
Stilized hand painted knife I made for practice. I've been doing a lot of realistic stuff lately so it was nice to take a break an do something like this. You can see the original post with a Marmoset Viewer here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/v6AeY Concept from Becca Hallstedt
