Hi guys, I got to the vertex paint stage in my level and I am confused how to go about this issue. I am trying to create fake height difference between my top layer (wallpaper) and bottom layer (plaster). I am still learning unreal so figuring this out seems like black magic. This is what I got so far, (the mask for the…
I'm having some weird problems with image quality when opening an image in anything really. I've tried with Photoshop, Paint and Photo Viewer. I'll print screen my port view in Maya and then paste it into paint or photoshop, save it and then when I view it the quality is lost completely. It gets this weird noisy, darkness…

Hi, It's been a while since I posted a new artwork. Did this recent personal project during my free time and finally calling it done. I have named it "Prince" as it gives vibes of Prince of Persia, which is a game I've always loved. This is inspired by the great work of HE XIAOSONG. Hope you like it. Thanks!
the first graphic design teacher i ever had (Mike Trim) did the original record cover art of those tripod type machines, he was a great teacher. http://drzeus.best.vwh.net/wotw/wotw1978.6.html even if the 70s musical thing was a little strainge. Thanks for the response. That tutorial will surely help as will the points you raised. Hand painting has always irked me because I could never get it right but I know I am capable of it. Thanks again for the crit, I really do appreciate it.
Thank you for sharing this. I always wanted to do plein air paintings but I always thought the point of them was to do them outside. I appreciate you sharing so I'll starting doing them with photos.
hey all, I did this after a convo with a friend this morning, on the artstation page are links to the painter file and toolbag scene so you can see how I made such a mess. The UV's blow hard but that wasn't the point so please excuse :D I hope its of use to someone: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Yd5mK
