Thanks guys. This should be filed under salary negotiation 101, and you were right, the increases were described too vaguely to be promising. I've signed for higher pay, now I'm getting ready to bust my ass once I start on the job.
Just to clarify: Heck yes, voting matters, pal! Check out this comment: O-BUM-a the terrarrorist! :O I bet you didn't know! I thought the comic it was posted in response to was alright, though: http://www.gocomics.com/features/151/feature_items/386307
ok, problem solved. i just downloaded decimation master from the pixologic download center again, even tho it is listed as 1.1 - which is same version i had installed before. The problem got solved!! pixologic and their dodgy version number updating :)
Hi thank you Oniram, :) However i figured it out last night by setting game type to UT_Game and not deathmatch there is a small change in scale but enough for me and that leads to conclusion that 160 or 192 should be normal wall height or 256 Max and above for different environment styles.
@ CraigSnedeker : Thanks a lot man :) I just finished the radio tower, here is a little turntable. When you go through the blue light, you unlock the nearby races. The tower is 16k tris and use a 1024² texture. There is also a LOD of 560tris using a 256² map.
"My name's Snake. I don't like speech. I never even signed up for it. And I ain't got no hobbies, 'less you call collecting knives and putting tattoos across the foreheads of guys I don't like..."hobbies." And I have a 1.1 GPA"
Blimps eh. After all the hoo-ha on the website, I thought this'd be something a bit more new and exciting, but at least it looks it'll make up the complete redundancy of Bioshock 2. Lots of info here too. http://au.pc.ign.com/articles/111/1111864p1.html
The problem though is that when calculating two integers that results in a float, like 999 divided by 6, the 166.5 gets rounded to 166. I'm wanting the result to instead either be a integer (when it's an integer obviously) or a float (when it's a float). I should have given this a different title to this.
Ditto what arsh said about LA. Was talking to a friend in Burbank. 111 there. Temp in Culver City at the same moment - 89. thats a 22 degree difference in as many miles. Still way too hot in my apt and my AC is a 40 year old POS.
