Yes (ish)TM, everything >170 srgb is metal, fill with white. Everything < 170 is 56 srgb therefor black. -

IIRC, it's not only that, triangle stripping is harder to do with these triangle fans, which could make certain vertices have to be read twice, and then there goes your savings of 56 triangles. -

i'm about to be. Downloading the 200 mb sdk with my 56k modem isn't appealling. BTW, I took the driver way back to the 56.xx series and it works fine now. -
