GPU instability/bad performance during bakes in Toolbag/Painter after Windows Fall Creators Update
First off, I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this so mods feel free to move/close the thread. Alright, so I'm having a bit of an issue with my GPU. That's a fair point if using GPU accelerated renderers. If you're targeting unreal/unity etc and don't have 3090 money I'd take a previous gen 80series over a current gen 60 series -
Knald optimizing mesh data takes very long
Hey i'm trying to bake with knald but optimizing mesh data takes so long it's been stuck around 60-70% for 45 minutes now my highpoly is around 30 mil polys. -

i mean they have achieved 1080p at 60 frames per second on PS3! isn't that amazing?. personally i think it's fraud; i think the secret is that it just uses complete texture baking. what do you guys think?
