I use Transmographier in 2011 on an almost daily basis to make facial morph targets, but it doesn't work in 2012 as with most plug-ins Autodesk required a complete recompile, its annoying. I was able to figure it out - it's the animation and skinning. When you bring over animation and skinning info from Max 2011 to 2013 this happens (for me anyway).
