Hehe It's just called lazy mouse ...not just for mice. I use a tablet too. Lazy mouse just smooths a line you draw and drags your brush behind. What this allows you to do is to draw long strokes of say hair a lot smoother. It's originally a Zbrush brush option you can toggle on and off. I wish I had a deco brush in PS too.
Thanks guys for the suggestions but I am just looking for a way to create macro unique terrain textures form low res aerial image or just a hand drawn something as a guide for AI . Like if I draw a road or river and AI would do road and river accordingly . Something to turn vectors to aerial image maybe. Something looking…
Art Style very similar to Persona 5's blocky simplistic stylized look. We want artists that will make these assets from scratch. Using pre-existing font's is not allowed, however they can be referenced.
Figured it's high time to stop lurking and start a sketchbook, been trying to get better at 2d recently after spending a lot of time on 3d stuff. Trying to learn to draw faces mainly as well as grasp the basics of 1 and 2 point perspective. Here are a few recent pieces of work: A couple of rts/ fantasy houses I drew to…
@pmiller001 Here's a video I found that explains landmarks really well. Basically bones that are very close to the surface, Not muscles. I marked the clavicle, the arch of the ribs and the belly button in red, they are all landmarks which you can use to measure distances between things on the body, I forgot to mark the hip…
There are a couple of things working like that accomplishes. For one, the piece looks much cleaner and less amateurish. It also helps maintain a hierarchy of shape. You don't want the entire image covered with thin strokes. Use those small shapes to describe details around the focal point (using the example again, the…
This week I have been doing more gesture drawing and practicing the robo-bean from the Proko course. Still finding this pretty difficult, especially for poses that have a twist so need to practice more. The house I drew whilst following along with one of Trent Kaniuga's drawing tutorials, but I've started workinng on one…
Is anybody else experiencing heavy lag when trying to retopo a mesh? I have a pretty good machine but when trying to use the Quad-Draw tool on a high poly mesh to retopo it takes about 1-4 seconds for Maya to actually draw the Poly. I turned off history to see if it makes a difference but after a few drawn quads the same…
I'm very awful when it comes to drawing, I haven't drawn in a long time. I tried drawing her and her proportions, it's very rough. I will go over it once I managed to get her proportions right. I decided to add a silk scarf to her neck, small watch and few pins to her hairband as extra accessories. Im going to start…
so my current project is this; my aim was to create something that was an extension of my illustration style ( http://www.medicinal-waste.co.uk ) merged together with what I do for a living, alongside making my existing style better through this technique. If you look at my samples on my illustration page, they are pretty…
