Using HDR cubemap in Maya?
Maya 2013 is giving me an error when I try to load a HDR cube map saved as .dds float32 RGBA. Googling found some info on the Maya 2014 docs that seems to hint that 16 or 32 bit array(like a cubemap) textures are not supported. Surly I'm crazy and am just missing something? -
[3DS Max/MAXScript] Select faces with no smooth group
Hello guys! I want to make a script that select faces with no SG on selected Editable poly objects and and then perform auto smooth for those faces.For the start I tried to get an array of faces with polyop.getFaceSmoothGroup but it gives me a bunch of errors in Listener. Hope you can give me advise how to accomplish that! -

[Zbrush] Radial symmetry not working correctly (Solved)
Hello, so I got this piece in Zbrush imported from Blender with perfect array modifier and the problem is that radial symmetry seems to not work correctly? Here I tried to sculpt on edges and result is not the same everywhere. I have mirror symmetry and local symmetry turned on, tried different combinations, google didnt… -

So when I tile the materials in the Quixel Mixer these god like algorithms of your programmers is overworking the tiles so it doesn't look like a tiled surface? Then I just need to put this texture on my 3d model instead of making an array of models with the same texture? Sounds too easy for me^^ -

Thank you for the answers. Yes Dataday, The cleanup hasn't found any error. However not the selection mode rather the local mode should be selected. WarrenM: hmm, strange, I solved another way, make only one of them, and made radal array again. anyway thenk you for your help -

Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but seems like it does the same basic idea as Topogun, for just $116 US. PolyDraw An array of tools for quickly editing meshes or scetching out a mesh , either on the main grid, projected onto the surface of another object or on the selected object itself. Update: I'm redoing the candle - the original was made in a rush, and I've learnt more zbrush tricks since then (array meshes ftw!). Just the high poly for the moment.
