Hi guys, Thanks for your comments - much appreciated. I just tried out this other method for getting some silhouettes down quicly and not focus on details too much. I will probably do quite a few more when/if bored :) @Duncan - love your Batman :D
the ones i listen to the most are Bourne Identity (all the bourne soundtracks are awesome, but i like the first one the most) Donnie Darko Batman Begins/Dark Knight Blackhawk Down Kingdom of Heaven Event Horizon (this one is SAWEEEEEET) Battlestar Galactica
Hi guys, really liking the viewer. Got some weird results with a few models on Artstation though. When I looked at Satoshi's Batman and Yosuke's dragon I got a white sphere and only wireframe visible respectively. I've attached an image.
ha! Love that comparison! Actually, Kraylor is mostly going to be in a centaur position in the final, but for the demo it was easier to make him a biped type. And being the Batman fan I am I can't believe I didn't think of the Bane Association for Juice :P
Here is something I am working on to get better at Hard-surface modelling and to improve my general ZBrush skills. Bane from the new Batman movie; The Dark Knight Rises. Played by Tom Hardy. Not going for a full 100% replica, more like 95%
I've been lazing around last week, so no new stuff in that time. Currently I am trying to sculpt Harley Quinn from Batman, this is the reference that I use: (The Artist's Signature is there if you want to know who that is. THIS IS NOT MY WORK) And this is what I('ve got so far:
1. Mass Effect 2 2. Dark Souls 3. Tales of Symphonia 4. WoW 5. Skyrim 6. Divinty Original Sin The others are probably more like action adventures or something: 7. Dishonored 8. GTA 4 9. Batman Arkham City 10. Darksiders
I'm about stumped. I've looked everywhere I can think of for something close to a way to do this. I've seen it in games like batman and other Unreal Engine titles. I can get the texture to work, but am I forced to have to place it on a BSP in order to align it properly?
So I've decided to be a big boy and take on the challenge of modelling the Bane and Batman sewer fight scene from The Dark Knight Rises. The upper catwalk in the reference image I've provided looks like a good choice to me, but then again the floor is also as good. Anything I could do?
I said nothing to the effect of it being Shakespeare. I meant simply that American film studios (and other ventures) change things for no good reason or on the premise that American audiences can't relate to Asian themes/characters. OH NOES WE CAN'T UNDERSTAND FOREIGN! For me the lowest common denominator is the studio…
