Both of the textures I made are created using 3d studio max. The dots are an array of cones with a gradient map going away from the camera. The lines are a series of wedges with the same gradient map. You could create a single line in photoshop and increase the tiling. It would give the same effect.
Coming along :+1: Howabout another one! (kidding) :) Anyhow, imo I do feel that corner is in need of jazzing up a bit so instead of a flag maybe a shop sign or something? Remember being quite fascinated as a lad with the dizzying array of decorative signage hanging outside 'ye olde' English pubs, especially.
Messing around between 2 versions (linux and windows) shows the problem is related to screen tracking. The same thing occurs with boxcutter's array modifier. I think this is a dual monitor problem and just a case of monitor boarders snafuing the addons. Solved. Turning off Modal warp under the Hops dropdown/top menu,…
ivanzu => Sand waves are all going in the same direction, I'll need to break that up a bit. Di$array => That's indeed the main weakness of the scene right now. Adding buildings behind the wall will improve depth and scale but I definitely need to give some love to the foreground. I'll focus my work on that. Thanks for the…
Great progress sefice. And seeing the face up close now i take back anything i said about it. She's starting to look amazing. Though i do agree with Di$array. The head should/could be a bit bigger to really get that anime style on it. Looking forward to seeing your next update :) .
k so sorry i took so long to do this one but i added another part to the tutorial. fortunately i got a new mic so this one should sound a little better. it goes over the spin function, array modifier, and curve modifier. [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRElU2E_5Dg&[/ame]
I modeled all the pieces... I'm guessing you are referring to the lattice look over my corrugated metal. I created a simple hexagon and arrayed them out welded the corners and applied a lattice modifier to it. I am not sure what premade you are referring to sorry I couldn't help :(
Blender doesn't have an Insert Mesh brush, but it does have an array modifier that can follow a curve. I create a single braid using a basic coil mesh and shoot it down a curve positioned over the Beast. I use a displace modifier to eliminate the gaps. The braids will later terminate in ornamentation.
Try using the match command. { string $test = "group1:pCube1"; if ( `match ":" $test` == ":" ) { print "Found special character. \n"; } } Alternatively you should just be able to tokenize without having to check for it first. If tokenize doesn't catch anything to split, the destination array will have a size of 1, the…
Oh, I'm sorry, totally forgot about that. It is a wahammer 40k dreadnought. A walker-tank that can carry a wide array of weaponry. Here is one of the pictures I use for reference. It is also available as a miniature for a board game called 'warhammer 40k'. I own one of these miniatures and also use it as reference.
