Re: How long did it take for you to make a living in the 3D industry?
Started doing 3D when I was 13. Started earning money by doing work for small clients / individuals at 15 or 16. Currently almost 19 and I could easily move out and live quite comfortably in my country. Most of the time I don't really know what I'm doing. -

Maybe it's because I've been doing this for 19 years, so I have more options than most. There's a good chance places like Naughty Dog, Blizzard, and Epic get tons of qualified applicants, and my refusal to take an art test might preclude the possibility of me ever working for any of them. -

Why arent you using Holeinthewallhosting.com ? $19 a year. A YEAR... I know people who pay £20 ($38') a month until they actually listened. It's also offers some of the most comprehensive server side functionality via Cpanel, that I haven't seen since the studio i worked at paid £280 a month. -

problem with kids nowadays is that they are too used to not expriencing nothing , thus they become spoiled brats that think they own the world but when u punch them when they have 19 they still cry like a baby and threaten me that theyr father that is all powerfull will fire mine.... please, the kid will live...prhaps… -

@xendance Thanks for the crit. Tell me if I need to add more size variation. I tweak the Size and Size Var parameters of every vegetation and created LOD for each. manage to save up 4-5 fps (19 fps -> 24 fps) 49k instances average of 800k poly in the screen. Thanks. -

Sci-Fi soldier for Crysis mod :)
Here's a character I'm working on for a crysis mod, and as an update to my portfolio.
