Lately in my spare time, I've had a turn at some low poly modeling, here is a few props which would work good in a game, the shader takes advantage of vertex colouring. Screen taken in Unity, Shaderforge was used for the materials.
I apologize for (relative) necro. Random and awesome.:poly121: Started late and (for some stupid reason) I decided to port it all to unity and continue working on it, just so I can port it back into UDK and finish it (still not near completition).
Nice results Eric.. I've been struggling a bit with Realtime GI (and even baked lighting in Unity 5) so that's useful. Can I just ask did you use a 3rd party asset to give the ies light effect?
Is the plan to raise enough money via Kickstarter to purchase a license for CE? If so I'd rethink that pitch. Unless you've got a world-beater there's almost no way you'd be able to raise a sufficient amount of money. Consider moving to UDK or Unity.
Is this real-time in an engine like Unreal or Unity or is this done through a render setup like V-Ray? I think you'll get more help if we know more about your setup because the answer is different for each one.
yeah sounds legit, sound designer must create somethng cool then we can sort it this way man! Unity project will be loaded first. Then music will be loading behind, it will be completed while youre playing and start with a fade-in! brilliant actualy. TATATATA
Quick IN-GAME test of the model, just to make sure it looks decent in a game context. Testing out how it looks in Unity lighting, and from different camera angles and distance. I'll make a new thread dedicated to my game soon.
I guess I should explain the concept a bit to help understand its direction. The concept is of a ship that has high maneuverability and speed but acts as a siege unit. Typically siege units in games are very slow and have high defense but I wanted to create a unit that would be quick and agile with siege capabilities.…
Push to force movement in directions the "so-called", directors want the herds to go towards. That move by unity conveniently pushed most towards u.e.5. Making sure every industry gets hit with the so called new "direction" of things, which just shows how many people are in the circle of "control" or forced to conform.…
Hi all, Over the past couple of days I've been messing around with Substance Designer. Here is my first substance which I created. :) Any comments and crits would be appreciated. P.S: I'm hoping to use the substance in part of this scene which I am planning on recreating in Unity
