Revit and 3dsmax. Also, on the point of this not being an arch-vis specific forum, there is more crossover now than ever. Environment artists adopt building concepts from arch-vis and arch-vis artists are starting to dabble in UE4 and Unity.
Thanks for the anwsers guys, We are using Unity, will probably make some splines and make the particles follow the splines with some variation, so we can have some randomness, Will post results! If anyone has more ideas they are welcome!
Experience could be working on a mod team, creating assets for the unity store, making weapons for TF2 or Dota2, etc. You could also put in contests and awards. If you haven't done anything worth listed, don't put a section for that.
Hey Defragger! We only support 1-1 previewing with Unity and Unreal 4, currently. Getting everything to match in other renderers will require some artistic eyeballing, the old-fashioned way. What engine are you using?
Thanks for replying. The engine will be Unity and the platform will be PC. The best concept art I could find to what I want is this: Preferably something like the last uniform (black one). This is mainly just for exercise though it may be used later on.
Nevermind, I`ve worked it out, it this due to my baking. If anyone read this and has a link to a tutorial that explains in-depth the process of baking normal map and why some maps work great in unity but not in 3DO I`ll appreaciate this :)
The tent is now finished! I added some shadows on the top part of the walls and cloth loops on the bottom parts of the spikes that I had forgotten. Here's how the two versions look inside Unity, which is used in our project.
yeah. but I think it's gotta do with the fact that I'm in China. Took me 3 attempts. Login = Not cool  Not sure what they want to achieve though. Being able to remote disable it? Should have done it like Unity...
cry engine also has their own market place. it probably has less users looking to buy than unreal or unity but there may be less competition on it as well. I havent looked at it since they announced it so I may be wrong.
Also, I don't have a marmoset 2 license around to test with. What tangent spaces are on the list? If unity is available I would try that. Also, see what happens when you set handplane to 'input binormal and tangent'.
