Hello guys I would like to share the model I started for the Retrogasm 2019 challenge. Unfortunately I couldn’t finish on time but now it’s done. Sculpted in ZBrush; Retopology in 3DS Max; Texturing in Substance Painter and Photoshop; Rendered in Marmoset.
It's the same build for now. Like previous year, we included the last 2019 build in the 2020 license so that people could take advantage of the Black Friday sale to get their new license.
Yes, OSL shaders are not render dependent. That's why Mads could just take the code and do a very quick recompile for Max. Open Shading Language is a really powerful feature added to 2019.
Thanks a lot for overwriting my avatar spot with the hail penis. As worthy as it may be, I don't feel like editing again. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1435394&postcount=109

Thanks so much for this thread! I know creative assembly and adult swim/cartoon network do summer internships but they haven't been posted yet. Here is Rare one that has been posted https://www.rare.co.uk/careers/rare-internships-2019
I'am currently a Sophomore at College For Creative studies, with a major in Game Design. For my Game Art I assignment I was tasked with modeling from reference in ZBrush. I decided to use a concept I made Mid- 2019. Critiques are very well welcomed!
I made a version with 2 different blur settings, one for diffuse lighting, and one for specular that could be transitioned between, which was about 150 instructions. The single bit there is I believe 109-115.
