this looks very carlos huante-inflected as far as the colors and shading--which is definitely not a bad thing an initial crit i'd say from a quick once-over would be that the guy's left foot looks a little lumpy/not as well resolved as the right foot. it only sticks out because the rest of the character is so well… -

It should be much easier and cheaper to make a game and release it to one platform, and then afterwards decided to release to another platform and make it for that, because all the assets has already been made, and the company has already gotten money in from the initial sales from the previous platform. Yes what you're looking for is the ribbon module (under Type Data -> Ribbon Data) If you want to spawn these from particles, just use the emitter initial location module on your ribbon emitter, and point it to the name of your stars emitter. Simply not ramping up the maintenance prices in order to force people into rental would also go a long way for smaller developers, because sticking to their current version will be one of the first decisions that many will make and some I know already have made, followed by not renting, but looking for alternatives.
