Using these non-default settings that ott and gamedev mentioned are also much better for your render to texture normal / ao maps as well. The result will be much smoother. I tend to use catmull-rom and then max 2.5 or hammersley..

Last night I started an initial block-out for one of the adversaries. These guys tower above the POD. The POD is about 1cm with it's legs included, this guy is a about 2.5 inches high. This was my original sketch as seen from earlier:
To me it seems as if the shoulders/shoulder armor is way to big. It appears as if his shoulder joints are 2.5 head lengths away from his head. I think really the head is just too small for the upper body and size of the legs.
Yea I saw that video before and I've been waiting for Blender 2.5 stable release to available to download..not a big fans of beta/ alpha stage apps, just don't want to deal with the bugs that still around..heheh _Revel
