I'm planning to give her an oil lantern for the final low poly real-time posed render. The only problem with this is that the hinge which is supposed to raise the center parts with glass and all for manual ignition, doesn't stay in place on the small metal holder on the bottom of the plate when rotating the hinge. It's…
Thanks to everyone who send me bug reports and suggestions we can see the new version of kHED. It includes the most significant fixes and some new features. Here's a list of changes: - Added support for a variety of image file types (psd, png, vtf, dds, gif and a lot more) thanks to Developer's Image Library by Denton…
@pixelpatron @sacboi - Thank you for encouragement, much appreciated :D Continued to work on the materials. (Made the wood lath in Zbrush and then exported the heightmap to SD and finish the rest of it there.) I've been learning Unreal material nodes for the past month. So far, I've implemented vertex painting, ability to…
The hold function seems to do the job, but it requires the convertToSplineShape function which makes it unusable if there are any modifiers in the stack :/ I've been trying to figure out if there's any other undo-enabled spline functions that will let it work, but no luck so far.
I'm not 100% sure what you are trying to do, but for what I'm guessing, using a struct to store the information would be the safest way. When you do oldP = (selection as array) each item in there is a reference to the actual object in the scene. When you change the pivot and position of each object using Selection.pivot =…
Hey Max! We noticed that you didn't match cases of the functions defined and the functions called, so I had to go through and do that to get the script to function. Once I did that, it worked awesome and I will be using it religiously now! Thanks.
Robots have a function. There is no clear function one can derive from the design. If you have a function for the robot, put it in the design. Steam Punk, can open up the possibilities with design, too. Put some carving designs on the chest and forehead. After that, refine the look of the materials. Good start. Sean
Don't think that it's possible, but I know if you hold ctrl over any function in ZBrush it will explain the function and hotkey with the description. If you hold ctrl over a function and then press alt you will get an alt description with a hotkey as well. All as long as help mode is enabled.
Once setup, the painting in DDO/3DO through Quixel is really awesome. Not trying to shameless plug, but this was textured entirely through the smart materials in DDO and hand painting on the model itself in DDO/3DO (aside from the screen on the canister, that was done completely from scratch in PS). It has a ton of…
