Nuke your prefs to kingdom come! :) You might consider doing this, just make sure you backup any scripts, shelves, etc. you want to keep. You could just rename the existing prefs folder and start Maya. Then copy from the old one.
That's a great idea. I'll look into that. Your screen shot shows an older version of my script. You might want to re-download it from my original post, as there have been significant updates. Here's a shot of what the most recent version of this tool looks like:
Yeah, thanks for the suggestion! I had considered that, but it's a tad unwieldy, and I'd much prefer just to have one large Perspective viewport open, rather than two (or have to keep switching camera/viewport). I guess I'll just have to slog on with this scripting stuff
Ok so I've got the tracks modeled, and in place. wrote a script to place them automatically(which was nice). I've also included the blockout of the hull to put everything in perspective. Like Vig said. its looking too wide. I'll sort that out Critiques they be welcome!
Very likely if this caused your computer to power down and reboot, or you powered your computer down and rebooted and you hadn't rebooted recently before this, it just simply meant that the virus had already been installed, it just had not started with Windows yet like it was scripted to.
Don't you have Zbrush? You can project the geosphere over the regular one. I'd suggest you the old polyShrinkWrap plugin for Maya - http://www.creativecrash.com/maya/downloads/scripts-plugins/modeling/c/polyshrinkwrap - but unfortunately, it seems it runs just on Maya 2008, win32.
I looked every where within max and online for "shrinkwrap" but I didn't find anything in max. I found a script but it hasn't been updated in years. Is that what you meant or am I missing something? The look you have there is what I am after.
The FF12 system was real-time and still had the little pointers to select targets. Of course they also had the scripting system so you only had to select targets etc if you wanted to do something specific. I liked the 12 battle system. :( Frank the Avenger
WANDERING EARTH - Cargo hatches details In the early script, a lot of the action happened around the hatch so I spent some extra time to make detailed drawings of those areas. Eventually it didn't matter so much! Made using Sketchup and some texture bashing.
I remember seeing a thread about this Must be deferred decals using a edge wear trim sheet, applied to angled decals with 2 faces you put on the edges I imagine this type of workflow must be 10x faster with some sort of script than manual application
