Thanks everyone for your comments very useful. I have made some changes with my uvs. Dimfist : Not sure about the style I saw this canon in Croatia I took a picture of it and decide to made a model.
@Dimfist Thanks! I tried to make the design keeping in mind is a woman arm thanks for noticing :D Thanks @Lazar! Those words coming from an artist I follow and admire mean a lot to me
OK. Project cancelled then. Thanks shosh, Dimfist, Di$array, Xaragoth, Ahoburg. Your critics are appreciated, I want you to know that. I'll start anew when... I have the determination let's just say. Thanks everyone.
Dimfist : already done with most of the retopo, im trying to make the whole thing into as many discrete modular pieces as possible, this ups the polycount but is better for the future of the player model (adding different types of gun models and such). glad you like it silkroadgame !
Nice job!! Hey guys sorry for my flood, but before I can't input my character. Thanks Dimfist, soon I change the character shoulders. Bacn, Ok, I will shrink the trapezius, thanks!!! PyrZern Sorry, but thanks for tips!!! Thanks!!!
@Dimfist: Half of what you mentioned is valid, and the other half is design. I totally see what you mean by the cheek bones and the head, but the facial structure is technically clustered from the nose down. Also, PLEASE tell me if and where this is in the Uncanny Valley. Mind the lack of eyes:
@Dimfist - Which of the concepts are you referring to? :) I tried to stick with the in-game version (the ones to the right). What I will probably change is how it is attached to the back though. It's kind of floaty right now. And I'll do a second pass with the cracks after the bigger things are sorted. Thanks for the input!
Dimfist Oh,thank you for such a good idea and feedback. He also will have more details like a cloth, bags, may be some necklaces and bracelets with bones\stone\mushrooms and e.t.c. And I think he need get some magic staff. Torch Ok I'll try something like this
@ JadeEyePanda and Dimfist. Thanks for the feedback guys, I went in and retopoed everything and got a much cleaner result. Really glad you caught that. @foredea Yeah Maya/Max and Modo are way easier to do hard surface in, but I really want to get the practice in zbrush. Here is the result, thanks again.
I'm agree with Dimfist , even when you have a clear idea in your head it's still better to draw atleast a rough concept. And i wanna give a small advice, try to work on proportions, and anatomy, even for the stylized characters it's important. But since it was your first expirience, you did good !
