So tried some masking and using actual textures of sedimentary rock to mask out where I could apply some horizontal layers. I am 50/50 on it, though, perhaps once I sculpt and bake the bricks, and piece all of this together, will I get a better understanding of what it will look like. Let me know what you think! peace,…
Thanks guys! This was fun to make - I usually don't make guns. I think I'll go in and take out some of the smaller chinks on the front, and harden a couple of loops up there as well. Going to bang out the low poly first, and then jump back to that. Dogzer - this isn't 100% ZBrush. It's a 50/50 split between Max and Z. But…
Eh i find rotten tomatoes to be by far the best scoring system ive seen. Dont think of it as an aggregate of scores, think of it as a percentage chance you'll like it. Because that is what it is based on. There are a ton of films ive seen with a score of 50% on rotten tomatoes ive seen that i love but i also agree with…

competitive tower defense for PC, to be released in closed beta December 2016. It is the standalone
successor to Legion TD, the hugely popular Warcraft III…
Hello folks! Ill try to resurrect this thread instead of making a new one, hows the situation as of May 2014? I've made a thread on tomshardware and to my surprise i have not been advised for Nvidias by 110% of the population, but it is almost a 50% 50% battle because of some OpenCL i was completely unaware of... any…
Here's the thing though. Most Devs DO understand the average gamer. They have far more data and info on player metrics and habits than the public does. A big problem (the biggest problem IMO) is the hardcore gamer (who happens to be the loudest segment), is not the average gamer but thinks they are. Im not saying its all…
That one channel at a time thing only works while your still painting the mask, once you press accept on the mask you have a 50% chance it would work and the other 50% of the time sqaures would pop up. if i don't press accept and switch channel it goes to squares every time like you see above. it's pretty much unusable…
Basically, I'm choosing Maya due to the market place. In San Diego all of the Major Game Studios are using Maya. Southern California has about a 50/50 ratio of games studios using Maya/Max....and the ratio is higher for film. Back east the ratio for using Max is higher. I can only tell you that I find the work flow in Maya…
True, you've got a 50/50 chance of getting a hit. So a tool option change and it's fixed....until the next dodgy one. But then again, interactive split requires edge targeted placement and two tool options changes, and the insert edge loop will run away and do every face in the loop unless the selected edge is one of two…
