AutoAttack Games is an independent game studio founded in 2014, currently developing its premier game: Legion TD 2. Legion TD 2 is the first ever competitive tower defense for PC, to be released in closed beta December 2016. It is the standalone successor to Legion TD, the hugely popular Warcraft III mod played by millions of people.Overview
We are looking for a talented, multifaceted artist who is interested in getting involved early in the development of a promising new game. We are currently working with a creative partner for our art assets, but we intend to hire a full-time senior artist and/or art director in the near future to take over art production. We'd love to hear from you if you're interested in eventually taking on this full-time role, but we're also happy to hear from you if you just want to do contract work. Ideally, you have skills bringing art from 2D concepts to fully-animated 3D models, but if you're more specialized, that's okay too!
Responsibilities (flexible - let's talk!)
- Working with me (Jules) to execute the art vision for the game
- Creating or revamping 50+ pieces of concept art/character splashes
- Creating or revamping 50+ in-game 3D models (if applicable)
- Creating or revamping 50+ in-game 3D animations (if applicable)
- Creating or revamping 30+ in-game icons
- Creating official game logos, desktop icon, reddit art, etc.
- Communicating with players/fans and showing off your work (if you want to)
- Proficient in illustration or concept art (+6 points)
- Proficient in 3D modeling (+3 points)
- Proficient in 3D animation (+3 points)
- Proficient in visual effects (+2 points)
- Hardcore (+2 points) or casual gamer (+1 point)
- Played Legion TD or Squadron TD (+2 points) or other tower defenses (+1 point)
- You're a good person and nice to work with (+6 points)
- Professional working proficiency in English (+6 points)
