Yes, if you choose a format that supports it (png, tiff) your normal map will be baked in 16bits, also, the next update includes a dithering setting for when baking in 8bits.

I started this today, just messing around with hardsurface in ZBrush. I have no idea where it will end up, but it will include a lot of hardsurface, marvelous clothing and skin texturing.
KP, you forgot three classes of artist ... "General" ... essentially includes "all of the above" and "Animator" ... makes things move. "Conceptual" ... creates the vision by which others work
Apparently death proof is a really cut up version of the whole thing which will be included in a dvd release.... Makes me unsure if I wanna see the theatre version.
Either the Q3A pack includes an md3 importer or you're screwed. But seriously, GMAX sucks, it's based on an ancient version of MAX. If you can get anything else, do that.
its ridiculous that it should be such a head bashing exercise to bake a nice ao map. why the hell didnt they just include all the relevant options in the transfer maps ao?
Note that by including Milkshape into your pipeline you cannot use weighted verts, cannot do much tweaking should it become necessary and will get a lot of pain in the ass.
