Great links! Just a heads up that the main pose is drawn in perspective (we look at the head from below and on top of the feet) so you can't simply measure down to the toes. Then again, you normally wouldn't measure hair that's sticking up like that to have a better base of comparison to usual proportions, but I guess any…

If you are in Rhode Island area and are currently unemployed feel free to put down some contact information and your situation in this thread. I was never part of 38 Studios, but the fact that hundreds of people are now unemployed in the Rhode Island area is going to make finding jobs much harder for everyone, especially…
It looks like you have one gun metal that is on 80% of the parts, the whole gun and tripod is one material which I don't think is very interesting to look at. The materials them self look very cloudy and washed out. Take a look at the picture below Its a FN MAG, look at the barrel, receiver and gas tube. The gas tube is…
Depends on how detailed the figure needs to be, usually with drapery and what not covering most of the figure a posed base mesh is fine since 90% of the work is doing the drapery at that point and then damage and aging. If it's a full nude I'd prefer help from a character artist if I wasn't doing a study on anatomy myself.…
Thanx for the answers everyone! I went to study wiki on this site, very helpful, now I understand a little bit better what are the jobs in gaming. But still some things are very unclear, I think I have to dig deeper:) Character design seems the most attractive, but as far as I understand it is mostly 3D? I have started…

BUT you could: since you don't have breakdowns of the scenes, it could simply be a case of packing some themes together into a single ''project'' in artstation. - self contain the landscapes into one project in artstation - pick 1 or 2 of your fave grass…
A few photo's :) The reason there are some noticeable differences in the model is because some have turbosmooth applied. I am sure when i get more experience in lighting the usage of shader's and the right set-up, i can improve much on the appearance of the model ...so study study :) ) (Question - should i use turbosmooth…
