Hi there. For some reason my Hinge form edge tool in 3dsmax does this It was working fine throughout the project, rounding off perfectly until recently. Now it creates these weird elongated "rounded" caps when I hinge something. I can't find a solution and was hoping someone here might be able to help? Thanks.
So I'm going to attempt to create a low-poly model of a high-poly work I created a while ago, but I don't know where to begin. I've created low-poly works from high-poly before, just not with actual characters. To add on, what are your tools for retopo? I've used zBrush in the past for this.

Hi, I;m on the wall about how to model Zero's breast plate. The "bulbs" are posing some difficulties. Would you model the whole breastplate as one mesh with "bulbs" or Do i model the breastplate separate and model the bulbs as floaters and attach later?
This probably isnt a "new" technique but whatever. Obviously a hard boiled CG artist would model out the hole in the slide and then bake it down, but considering the topology in that area its waayy more efficient to do it in photoshop, and as you can see the result is not half bad.
