This is supppppppeerrrrrr dependent on engine and lighting model, for deferred shading this is more common. However, for more traditional setups, you can use whatever type of shader per object you want, simply restricting to the minimum amount of shaders/chunks per mesh is what is important. If you've got 50 meshes in the…
Your worth is based on what the client wants to pay you. If an object will take 100 hours to complete, how much money do you want to make per hour? $10? $20? $50 per hour? Some artists aren't worth even $10, many others are worth more then $50 per hour. You have to find out where you lie within that range.
I use a plugin called half wrap. http://www.btinternet.com/~cateran/simple/ It works like offset but you don't have to put in pixel values, it just does 50% down and 50% right for you. Another great tool someone posted awhile ago is 3T http://3t.lastchancemedia.com/ Yes its another app, but its real easy to just save the…
I agree with the technical stuffs.. As it's a 50/50 job I currently have more on the art side.. Like I said, I'm in the process of learning scripting so hopefully will have something to show soon... Currently I'm only showing my good work on this site... I have done some small uScripting before but not posted on this...…
Yeah i saw it saturday night. I didn't see the previous film (well i watched it last night :D ), and i never really watched star trek in the past but i still absolutely loved it. Visually stunning! First 3D film i've seen and it was 50/50 between ruining bits and making bits better though, not sure about that.
the amount of influence the fill colour has is down to the RGB level of the brush you're using to polypaint... if you're on 50% RGB, then when you paint, you'll still see 50% of the colour underneath. if you don't want influence from material or anything else, fill the object with the flat-colour material, and pure white…
I found that was true to, until lvl 50 on PC. It seemed like that while leveling, crafted items were always good for me after 2 or 3 crafts. Once I hit 50 however, the craft:use ratio seemed to shift to more like 20:1. still have yet to pick it up, what are a lot of people playing on, ps3 or 360?
I'm looking for someone to collaborate 50/50 in all aspects of the modelling/designing/texturing process. I've been designing as set for Alchemist which shows the period of time just after Razzil and the Ogre escape from imprisonment. Trying to use chains/shackles and makeshift weapons as the core features. I find creating…
It's quite clear. If you sell the company a product eg. 50 models you can use indie If you sell them your time eg. 50 days you can't use indie Its pretty similar to the way tax works (or is supposed to) for self employed Vs employed workers in the uk. Even if it wasn't, it's their product- they can choose whatever license…
WAIT HOLD THE PHONE! Where did you see the price tag 50$? Almost all Razor stuff I see, from cheap mice to headphones are a starter at 80$, and anything below that (usually 70) has that cheap foam thing going on which smells after a week. Are you pulling my balls, or did you really see good Razor Heados for 50$?!
