Got inspired and did some sketches. Well well...the main idea is to turn Ryze into this awesome puppeteer who commands a wizard marionette. But I still don't get how to handle the puppet handle (c'mon, the pun was funny!?) and the strings. Suggestions are welcome!
Been working on a wizard costume for an upcoming scifi con - and that means printing out the props. For example, this medallion: Printed on a simple Prusa i3 in PLA. I gave it a coat of epoxy laquer (unbranded, local hobby shop's name on it), then a coat of spray gold chrome.
Hey guys! Here is the WIP of the character I am working on so far. Planning to take this guy to the finish line fully rendered and posed. Got the idea to do this guy based on one of my favorite music producers Kaytranada (I'm a naming wizard). Final Render: Facial reference:
Figured I'd start one of these too... Here's a few recent none 3d things I've done... Capitol Punishment - 12"x16" - Ink on paper. Cranioplasty - 12"x16" - Ink on paper. A Dandy Cuppa! - Mixed media(Wall Painting). Wizards Whip. Odins Wisdom - T-shirt Design.
I'm actually playing as the wizard, so I keep using her right-click to charm the big creatures. That way they kill the other smaller ones, and also take a lot of damage in the process. But the gnoll guys are so fast that I don't have time to see them.
Nice Hair! I think when i get back i'll make a guy with some long hair. The only thing i didnt liek were the leaves on the Earthy cap, and the removal of little buckel on the wizard hat. But those are just little nit-pics.
Keep running out of time to do these studies Started doing some material spheres for something more akin to texture practice. Started out easy with just basic matte, then lizard/croc skin kinda thing and then shiny/painted metal. Spent the most time on the lizard one, probably an hour or so, the other two much less so.
I think if you looked at some reference the dragon might end up looking better, look at lizards for example and try replicate their forms and their finer details:…
Hi, i've started working on a next-gen character to start creating a decent portfolio, i'm pretty much done with the high-res model, but i can always use some C&C if you wanna give it to make it better. the idea is a present day "wizard" with mental powers instead of elemental powers.
New direction! I rushed forwards with the feathers and they looked like junk in game so I switched it up. Going with an old-school wizard riding a pack-mule named Gladys! Still just roughing everything out - the skirt is the hardest part to get a good concept going.
