Hi, i've started working on a next-gen character to start creating a decent portfolio, i'm pretty much done with the high-res model, but i can always use some C&C if you wanna give it to make it better.
the idea is a present day "wizard" with mental powers instead of elemental powers.

anyway, update, might do something on the gem still, but apart from that all i'm going to do is rigging.

Your textures looks a little over-saturated and it's hurting the realism of the model. Work more on defining material types in your texture. Use your spec map to break things up and add detail. For instance, the gloves don't read as leather currently, but plastic.
