I've visited a few times and it's a nice place and if you do enough searching you can find some very affordable apartments. We dont use attachements on polycount, which means the images arent uploaded to polycount's server in order to minimize bandwith and server space. What you can do is upload your pics to some free webspace or image hosting service like Imageshack and then put the links or add the images in your posts :) -

I have zone alarm on mine and I catch all types of apps. that try to access the net. Apps that no reason at all trying to use my bandwith. Some that tried: 3dmax Zbrush WOT Greal (uscript editor) Every popcap game hmmm... Most games now try Windows explorer (not the browser the file app) -

Ah awesome Sonshi and Jesse. Wanted to know if I could save some download bandwith on my end haha :P and working at work/home. Assume the same UPK/Maps workflow is the same from UDK. Got some ideas I wanna tackle though definitely gonna have to brush up on my C++. -

Ha one might never know, I'll hold out a little with mailing him though. Going to make some more "buildings" and level "parts" and construct a map and tf2 mod with lowpoly assets, as now the project by indecom seems to have died. I would argue that the PIXEL ART thread moves relativly slow in comparsion to WAYWO and the others, so in my opinion the max amount of images per post could be increased to 3 maybe. That gives one the chance to post small gif animations. Limitations of image size (pixel and kb) should be enough to make this threat… -

If it's down, it's probably because the guy's server got overloaded. I saw a post on Reddit from the guy who made it and he said that everything was hosted on one server and it had a cheapo bandwith/hosting plan. The site needs some optimization for those who are not blessed with good bandwith. It seems like you have coded it with some ancient html and flash. Try some css and get away from frames. Try using divs and flash. Design wise I think these guys have pretty much nailed the crit so I wont preach anymore. -
