Nice video! It is quite interesting how obvious its roots (quake1) are just by looking at the movement and 'physics'. Anyways I am definitly looking forward to try it out.
The only crit I have is the transition from the hair to the forehead seems to sharp. Add smoothing where the roots of the hair meet the scalp in the front. Other then that, great work.
There are also a number of obvious seams on your mushroom house that are being shaded abnormally. The most obvious one is between the mushroom house and that large root? sticking out of the front.
you would need to know the inner details of the modifications to judge that. If you dig back far enough the source engine has its roots in idtech 1 right?

I bet they continue with this whole 2.5D crap and the worst interface in the world. They'll add about 10 massive features but ignore the root problems. I'd love to be wrong.
